If you have already encountered this message while using Chikka:
Please wait for <name of Chikka buddy> to reply to at least 1 of your messages. Once your friend replies (at least once), you can continue sending him more messages. This is a new anti-spam feature to protect our community members such as yourself.
I have discovered a convenient workaround for it. No need to sign up for another Chikka account just to be able to send a message to that specific "blocked" friend anymore.
You just have to do the following steps:
-
Delete your friend from the Chikka buddy list by right-clicking on the name and select Delete Buddy. Select OK when you are asked to confirm delete.
-
Select Send Message from the Chikka menu.
-
Reenter your friend’s mobile number.
-
Type your message and send it! Whoalla! You are now again able to send a message for the previously blocked recipient. (You might also want to change your buddy’s screen name on the prompt that appears after the message is successfully sent.)
So there you go, just delete and add your Friend again! Hehe. Pretty simple, ain’t it? We just gotta outsmart Chikka from forcing recipients to reply to their network and be charged P2.50/message. Hope I was able to help. Happy Chikka-ing!
