Harry Potter 6

Friday, July 29th, 2005

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Last week, I was finally able to buy the 6th HP Book by JK Rowling. I finished reading it just recently. Like the previous HP books, it is a great read and definitely worth the money and time spent on purchasing and reading it.

So who’s the Half-Blood Prince? What happens in the end? Nah, I ain’t gonna spoil it for you. You must read it yourself, righty? Hehe. One more HP book left and I just gotta wait for the 7th installment to be released. Meanwhile, I’m lending my HP6 copy to my friends who want to read it.

Chikka

If you have already encountered this message while using Chikka:

Please wait for <name of Chikka buddy> to reply to at least 1 of your messages. Once your friend replies (at least once), you can continue sending him more messages. This is a new anti-spam feature to protect our community members such as yourself.

I have discovered a convenient workaround for it. No need to sign up for another Chikka account just to be able to send a message to that specific "blocked" friend anymore.

You just have to do the following steps:

  1. Delete your friend from the Chikka buddy list by right-clicking on the name and select Delete Buddy. Select OK when you are asked to confirm delete.
  2. Select Send Message from the Chikka menu.
  3. Reenter your friend’s mobile number.
  4. Type your message and send it! Whoalla! You are now again able to send a message for the previously blocked recipient. (You might also want to change your buddy’s screen name on the prompt that appears after the message is successfully sent.)

So there you go, just delete and add your Friend again! Hehe. Pretty simple, ain’t it? We just gotta outsmart Chikka from forcing recipients to reply to their network and be charged P2.50/message. Hope I was able to help. Happy Chikka-ing!

JP Game Downloads

I’ve finally found a full version of Super Text Twist and Super Bounce Out on the Internet, and I’ve repackaged them for everyone else to enjoy. Just download the file, unzip and install with the information provided in the accompanying text file.

Super Text Twist 2.21 (Shockwave Retail) (ZIP - 904 KB)
Super Bounce Out 1.5 (Shockwave Retail) (ZIP - 1.3 MB)

Just follow the links on the download page. It takes you about 2-3 clicks before you are taken to the real files. And sorry, I was not able to find a key generator. We just have to bear with the valid license name and license key provided. Anyway, we would still be able to have a great time playing, right?

24 Season 3

Tuesday, July 12th, 2005

I have finally finished watching 24 Season 3 via AVI files downloaded from the Internet. It really is a nice series. Way to go, Jack! I got three words to describe it: breath-taking, heart-pounding, tear-jerking. Well, I shed a tear on some scenes.

I recommend everyone to watch this! Very exciting and unpredictable. Watch it every Friday on ABS-CBN after Primetime Bida. If I were to rate this, I’d give it a 10/10.

And my favorite quote from 24? We’re wasting time we don’t have!
